Destruction and killing are both natural consequences and military and governmental tactics of every attack and war, which leaves various social, cultural and economic consequences, effects that can drag a civilization even to the abyss of transformation or destruction.
Timur's triple attacks were no exception to this rule. He was not the first world-wide invader to Iran, but examining how his attacks affected the economy based on agriculture, commerce, and to a lesser extent industrial Iran can shed light on one of the transitional periods of Iranian civilization.
The description of these invasions from the side of their impact in the field of economy will reveal the situation of Iran before the beginning of the Renaissance period in Europe. These economic effects can be analyzed in 5 dimensions: the loss of labor force, the creation of inflation and famine, the destruction of cities, the implementation of new and strict tax policies, and the stagnation of the farmer-oriented economy due to environmental damage, which we will discuss in this article. Paying to explain one of the last conquests of the middle centuries from the aspect of economic developments.
