"Qaboos-Nameh" was written by Amir Onsor al-Ma’ali Keikavus ibn Iskandar, one of the scientist governors of Al-Ziyar. He wrote this book in 475 AH as a guide for the upbringing of his son, Gilan Shah, about the customs of life and governance in forty-four chapters in simple prose, which contain useful points about various moral, social, and historical issues. The purpose of this research is to answer the question: why the concept of security is implied in some of the stories of the Onsor Al-Ma’ali. The resulting hypothesis is that this Emir Ziyari intended to convey the concept of security clearly and in a gentler language to the people of his time by expressing such advice in the form of sweet and documented anecdotes, so that he could take an important step towards establishing security in society. This article after describing the anecdotes, examines and analyzes various aspects of this issue regarding security using a library method. The findings show that this wise ruler considers the most important components of security to be obedience to rulers, obedience of kings and to God Almighty, respect for parents, making a family, as well as having a strong army, protecting property, and how to confront enemies. Therefore, given the novelty of the subject, it is necessary to conduct scientific research in this field.
