Jafar bin Abi Talib is one of the great and influential figures in the history of Islam. His generation is known as Jaafrah or Al Jafar, who play an important role in the history of Islam, among other things, it can be said that they played an effective role during Ashura and Karbala.
The current research, which was written in a descriptive-analytical way and using library sources, aims to answer the question that which people from Mr. Jafar's family were present during Ashura and what was their role in this event? The findings of the research show that, based on numerous historical sources, eight people from Jafar Tayyar's family were present in this important event in the history of Islam, and three of them named: Aoun bin Abdullah, Muhammad bin Abdullah and Aoun bin Jafar were martyred. The rest were captured. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze one of the aspects of Jafar Tayar's influence in istory.
