Hadiths are regarded as one of the main sources of Sirah (biography) of the infallibles. Different types and categories of hadiths must be recognized in order to achieve a deep understanding of them. The political – social Sirah of Imam Al-Jawad (a) in narrations can be categorized into four main parts: 1) narrations related to Re-assessment of Imamate, 2) narrations related to Mahdiism, 3) narrations related to relations with caliphs and official agents, 4) narrations related to decent and righteous social manners
