Abstract

The offering in all the types was the wide social event in Iran history especially Qajar period. We can found traces and signs of the offering in many contexts and social actions of that period. It was gradually unmasking its own hidden face and changed to an inclusive work and financial source for the court.
What was the position of offering in contrast with another financial source of Qajar? And was this position stable and continuous? This study answering the above questions, deals with the first-hand historical source of the period (documents and itinerary) and also answers to how the offering spread and what are the ways of receiving and paying it. It is supposed that some types of offering were continuous and systematic not occasionally when Qajar court faced to decrease incomes. Therefore, a part of costs in Qajar court regularly prepared from the offerings.
