Kadhimiyya region in Baghdad is regarded one the important places for Muslims, as it is the center of science, art and industry. Also the holy shrine of Imam Al-Jawad (a) and Imam Al-Kazim (a) are located at the heart of this region making it a glowing and peaceful place.
The beautiful artistic features based on Iranian - Islamic art are attractively imprinted on the walls and the shrine. These magnificent works have been done by means of painting, gilding, glazing and inlay which made the shrine glowing and eye-catching.
Explaining and analyzing different aspects of the shrine of Imam Al-Jawad (a) actually need a lengthy work such as a book. The focus of the present paper is analyzing the shrine of Imam Al-Jawad (a) and Imam Al-Kazim (a) in different historical eras. Which is intended to introduce the artistic features of the shrine and the case, in order to prove the point that building shrines was common among Sunni Muslims and their leaders. Even Muslims' Emirs have laid huge emphasis on rebuilding Shrines of Imams
