The historical swords of the Qajar period, apart from the aspect of historical importance, are one of the manifestations of art and religious works of art. In Iranian culture, during the Safavid to Qajar periods, the sword was a symbol of power, clinging to the sword of Hazrat Ali (AS) and a symbol of Shiite power for Shiites. The purpose of this article is a case study of four swords of the Qajar period and the study of Shiite themes of supplications and poems on them in the form of decorations. The main question of this research is how to study the decoration method based on Shiite themes in the configuration of four Qajar swords? The research method in this research is qualitative and of a descriptive-analytical type and based on the principles and rules used in the decorative features of Qajar swords with Shiite content and with an emphasis on poems and supplications. The results of this research show that art and politics in the period of Feth Ali Shah Qajar (1212-1250) It has an unbreakable link and the Qajar kings, especially Fath Ali Shah, tried to introduce themselves as the successors of the Safavids in Iran. The use of the name of Ali (PBUH) and Shiite themes: poems and supplications, emphasizing the contrary, clinging to power, and the sword of that Prophet symbolically refers to power and warfare; For this reason, despite the limitation of writing space on the blade of the sword, writing in praise of Hazrat Ali (AS); The prayer of Nad Ali and the poems related to Hazrat Ali are done in the form of thin gilding on the surface of the tempered steel of the sword
